East Baton Rouge sheriff’s deputies are searching for a man who allegedly robbed, punched and briefly kidnapped a man after their relationship ended.

Corey D. Williams, 23, of Baton Rouge, broke into the victim’s home Sunday, stole a number of items and attacked the victim following their breakup, said Casey Rayborn Hicks, a Sheriff’s Office spokeswoman.

Williams returned the next day, punched the victim in the face and kidnapped him, Hicks said.

Williams took the victim back to his home later Monday and vandalized the man’s vehicle before leaving, Hicks said.

Hicks said Williams is wanted on counts of home invasion, second-degree battery, aggravated kidnapping, simple robbery and criminal damage to property.

Anyone with information concerning Williams’ whereabouts may contact the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office at (225) 389-5000 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at (225) 344-7867.
