Baton Rouge man booked on sex count

Sheriff’s deputies arrested a 34-year-old Baton Rouge man accused of trying to give a 13-year-old girl a sex toy as well as exposing himself to her in late March.

Paul Robinson had been invited into the girl’s home to wait for an acquaintance when the incident occurred, according to the arrest warrant. When he heard the girl’s relative approaching from a nearby staircase, he covered himself up, according to the warrant.

The incident only reached the Sheriff’s Office when the girl told a school counselor, who called police on Sept. 11.

Robinson, of 2000 Brightside Drive, Baton Rouge, was booked Thursday into Parish Prison on counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
