A Baton Rouge woman accused of stabbing her girlfriend was arrested Thursday, police said.
Jessica Hebert, 34, stabbed her girlfriend in the buttocks and cut her leg, according to the Baton Rouge Police report. Earlier on Thursday, Hebert had threatened to kill the woman while holding a large knife, the report says.
The victim had puncture wounds “consistent with those of being poked from a knife” and a laceration that required stitches, the report says.
Hebert, 4708 Evangeline St., was booked into Parish Prison on counts of aggravated assault and aggravated battery.
AS of Friday evening, she remained in jail in lieu of $30,000 bail, online booking records show.
