Police made a second arrest Friday in a shooting outside a Baton Rouge home that happened in August.
A man told police that he noticed a fight break out at 4039 Dalton St. in front of his house on Aug. 28 and went outside to tell the people to leave, a Baton Rouge Police report says.
He reported that he got into an argument with his neighbor, Brittany Augillard, 29, and she went into her house and came back out with two handguns, one of which they wrestled over while the other dropped to the ground, the report says.
The man told police that Augillard shot him in the penis during the struggle.
Clifton Dewayne Dickerson, who Augillard said was her husband, then picked up the other gun and began shooting at the victim as he ran off, striking him in the thigh, according to the police report. The man told police he ran to a neighbor’s house to get to safety.
Augillard, 4021 Dalton Street, was booked into Parish Prison that day on a count of attempted second-degree murder and illegal use of a weapon.
Dickerson, 3508 Ontario St., was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on Friday on a count of attempted second-degree murder and illegal discharge of a weapon.
