A 25-year-old woman is accused of firing a gun toward several people during a fight in north Baton Rouge Friday afternoon, none of whom were struck by bullets.

Taja West got into a scuffle with several people near her home at 3578 Canonicus St. according to arrest documents.

The fight last several minutes, until the victims got in their car and began to leave, police said. West then grabbed a gun and began firing at the victims as they tried to drive away, police said.

None of the victims were hit and West ran back into her house, police said.

West was booked Friday into Parish Prison on counts of disturbing the peace and attempted second-degree murder.
