Reginald Warren

A Baton Rouge man was arrested early Friday after he choked a woman and threatened her with a variety of weapons.

Reginald Warren, 39, grabbed a woman around the neck with both hands while she was lying on the ground at an Iroquois Street address, a police report says. Warren then picked up a bat, a vase, a razor blade and a knife, threatening to “inflict great bodily harm on the victim.”

The woman managed to flee the house along with three children, the report says.

Warren, 2704 Iroquois St., was booked into Parish Prison on counts of aggravated assault and domestic abuse by strangulation. He remains in jail in lieu of a $35,000 bond.
