Sheriff’s deputies arrested a Baton Rouge woman accused of punching another woman in the face while armed with a lock during a fight on Wednesday.
Katylan Victorian, 21, jumped out of a car and approached the victim outside a home in the 700 block of North 30th Street, according to a Sheriff’s Office report. The victim walked towards her, not realizing what was about to happen — and when the two came close enough Victorian punched the other woman in the face, causing her to fall to the ground bleeding, the report says. Victorian then continued to punch the woman in the head, the report says.
Deputies say the victim’s brother found the silver and black lock on the ground moments later.
When deputies questioned Victorian about the incident days later, she acknowledged that she hit the woman with a lock and said the fight stemmed from a multi-day dispute on Facebook.
Victorian, of 6577 Van Gogh Ave., was booked into Parish Prison on a count of aggravated battery.
