Authorities arrested at least five people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between noon Wednesday and noon Thursday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

— Byron Bourgeois, 44, 3524 Oswego St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle while under suspension for prior offense.

— Lamonica Edwards, 37, 4602 Harding St., Baker, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle and improper lane usage.

— Karl Walker, 23, 12 N. Cane Circle, Houma, first-offense DWI and violating other laws of the road.

— Carlie Wascom, 21, of Denham Springs, first-offense DWI, stop lamps and turn signals required and license plate light required.

— Jasmin Winchester, 29, 9840 Hyacinth Ave., Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, disobeying a red light, reckless operation of a vehicle and operating a vehicle while under suspension for prior offense.
