Police seek suspect in Sunday shooting
Baton Rouge police are looking for the suspect in a Sunday night shooting that left a 38-year-old with life-threatening injuries.
The shooting happened just before 9 p.m. in the 5600 block of Prescott Road, between North Foster Drive and Airline Highway, Cpl. Don Coppola Jr., a police spokesman, said Monday.
A dispute between Jonathan Foster, 25, and the shooting victim preceded the shooting, Coppola said.
Foster, 1532 Olive St., is wanted on counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
Police did not indicate whether the shooting victim is a man or a woman. No other details were released.

Authorities book 4 on suspicion of DWI
Authorities arrested at least four people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
- Karen Colley, 46, 10040 W. Brookside Drive, Baton Rouge, third-offense DWI, careless operation, flight from an officer and stop sign/yield sign violation.
- Kacy Jakobs, 23, 515 Gardere Lane, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.
- Gary Midkiff, 37, 731 Caddo St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation, other laws of the road, insurance required and hit-and-run.
- Dianne Robinson, 50, 10333 N. Park Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and flight from an officer.
