Authorities arrested at least five people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
— Austin Sanders, 31, 15313 Ski Stone Drive, Baker, first-offense DWI and missing license plate light.
— Trevor Mercer, 25, 4330 Locke St., Zachary, first-offense DWI and speeding.
— Timothy Harlaux, 34, 12142 Village Drive, Walker, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
— Seppe McClelland, 24, 10926 Old Hammond Highway, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, possession of Schedule two drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and driver’s license required.
— John Cheek, 48, 802 E. Sanders St., Gonzalez, second-offense DWI, failure to maintain control of a vehicle, seat belt violation, possession of alcoholic beverage in a motor vehicle, expired vehicle inspection and improper lane usage.
