Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.

At least 18 people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Saturday.

Those booked and the counts against them on Saturday and Sunday:

— Lawrence Christy, 22, 8135 Albert Hart Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and reckless operation.

— Alvin Mears, 40, 427 Mary St., Broussard, second-offense DWI, failure to maintain control, reckless operation and other laws of the road.

— Christian Moody, 22, 15654 Malvern Hill Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and possession of alcohol in vehicle.

— Dave Moore, 38, 12529 Warfield Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, failure to stop at stop or yield sign and reckless operation.

— Noel Ramos, 27, 1964 Wyoming St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, failure to maintain control and headlamps required at night and inclement weather.

— Justin Sagers, 24, 5880 Cowan Loop, Harrisonburg, Arkansas, second-offense DWI, reckless operation and resisting an officer.

—Barry Snead, 25, 11888 Longridge Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, improper lane usage and reckless operation.

—Latoya Stringer, 37, 10920 Airline Highway, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, driver’s license not in possession and improper lane usage.
