A 17-year-old was arrested Tuesday in the theft at gunpoint of three dirt motorcyclists from their drivers at a BREC park over the summer.
Decory Andrews, of 2870 68th Ave. in Baton Rouge, was one of three robbers who approached three motorcycle riders in the BREC Park at 3000 Monte Sano Ave. on June 11, according to a Baton Rouge Police report.
Timotheus Bowie is accused of having held a black handgun to the head of one of the dirt bike riders and demanding the trio give up their vehicles, the report says. The riders complied, and Andrews, Bowie, and their co-conspirator, Kendale Cryer, fled on the motorcycles, according to the report.
The victims said they knew the attackers because they’d attended middle school with them in the past, the document says.
Andrews was booked into the East Baton Rouge Prison on a count of armed robbery and was assigned a bond of $75,000, according to jail records.
Baton Rouge Police spokesman Cpl. Don Coppola said Bowie was arrested in the crime, by Cryer is still at large.
