A 25-year-old man stands accused of raping a 17-year-old acquaintance early Tuesday morning at his Baton Rouge apartment, police said.
Tuang Pu, 373 Community College Drive, Apt. 207, was hanging out with the victim when he raped her in his bedroom, according to a Baton Rouge police report. The victim told police he held her down and told to be quiet while she yelled “no” and told him to stop, the report says.
A roommate of Pu’s told police he’d heard yelling coming from the bedroom but couldn’t make out what was being said, according to the report.
Pu, a Burmese national, told police he didn’t have sex with the victim, the report says.
The victim was taken to a hospital for examination.
Pu was booked into Parish Prison Tuesday morning on one count of second-degree rape. He remained in prison Tuesday night. Bail had not been set.
