Police are looking for a gunman who robbed the Waffle House on O’Neal Lane early Monday.
The gunman walked into the restaurant at 1988 O’Neal and demanded money, police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said.
The gunman took an undisclosed amount of cash from the register, then robbed a customer, McKneely said.
No one was injured, he said.
The robber was caught on surveillance video and is described by police as being a black man, between 19 and 21 years old and 5 feet, 8 inches tall, McKneely said.
The robber was wearing a black T-shirt and sweat pants, McKneely said. The man had a white T-shirt pulled over his face, McKneely said.

Police arrest suspect in Oct. 4 robbery
Police on Monday arrested a 21-year-old man accused of robbing the Dollar General Store at 3939 Choctaw Drive on Oct. 4.
Claudelle L. Jackson allegedly entered the store at 8:13 a.m., showed the clerk a handgun while demanding money and left with an undisclosed amount of cash, an arrest warrant says.
Jackson, 1404 N. 29th St., was arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a count of armed robbery.
Police: Man accused of sex with juvenile
A 19-year-old man accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl multiple times at her home in July was arrested Sunday, an arrest warrant says.
Reginald Doucette, 5602 Kilona Drive, was arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on five counts of carnal knowledge of a juvenile.
Doucette allegedly met the girl on a social networking website and communicated with her via telephone and text message before meeting her in person, the warrant says.
Man faces 2 counts of indecent behavior
A 36-year-old man was arrested Monday, accused of indecent behavior with two juveniles, a 9-year-old girl and a 12-year-old boy, on July 14, an affidavit of probable cause says.
Terence Roshell Dawson told the 9-year-old girl that her mother gave him permission to take her to a store near her north Baton Rouge home and buy her anything she wanted, the affidavit says.
After buying her several items, Dawson asked the girl to perform a sexual act on him, the affidavit says. The girl said no and ran to her neighbor’s house, the affidavit says.
Dawson then approached the girl’s brother and asked him to inappropriately touch him, the affidavit says. The boy refused and ran to where his sister was, the affidavit says.
Dawson, 1900 Blount Road, was arrested by East Baton Rouge Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies and booked into Parish Prison on two counts of indecent behavior with a juvenile.
Authorities arrest 2 on suspicion of DWI
Authorities arrested at least two people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Sunday and 2:30 p.m. Monday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
• Ricky Davis, 43, 6628 La. 412 East, Slaughter, first-offense DWI, failure to maintain control and reckless operation of a vehicle.
• Rickey Nelson, 50, 1595 Besson Lane, Sunshine, first-offense DWI, hit and run and failure to maintain control.
