An arrest warrant was issued Thursday for a Baton Rouge woman accused of stealing a $22,500 pension payment from her 81-year-old father in July.

Jolyn Thierry-Pierce, 32, received a letter from San Mateo Hotel and Restaurant Employees Trust Fund after she requested information on a pension trust fund her father did not know he was eligible to obtain, the Baton Rouge Police report says.

The organization deposited $22,563.33 into his account, and on Thursday Thierry-Pierce went to JPMorgan Chase Bank, at 2950 College Drive, as later seen in security photos, and withdrew $22,458.28 from her father’s account, the report says.

The victim’s niece, and now the person in charge of his affairs, reported Thierry-Pierce on July 20 after she refused to answer or return phone calls following the transaction, the report says.

Thierry-Pierce, 16441 S. Harrell’s Road, Apt. 904, is wanted on a count of felony theft, exploitation of the infirmed and theft of assets from an aged/disabled person.
