A 22-year-old Baton Rouge man was killed Saturday afternoon after the motorcycle he was driving collided with another vehicle on Coursey Boulevard, authorities said.
East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s deputies responded to the accident around 1 p.m. in the 1300 block of Coursey Boulevard, the Sheriff’s Office said in a news release.
Deputies said they were told the motorcyclist, Mason Guillot, was driving fast eastbound on Coursey Lane and hit a GMC Yukon that was making a left-hand turn from the westbound lane.
Guillot, 2254 E. Contour Drive, was taken to a local hospital and later pronounced dead from injuries suffered during the crash, the release says. The driver of the Yukon was not injured.
