Michael David Brown

Baton Rouge police on Friday arrested a man accused of masturbating in public twice in the past two months.

Michael David Brown, 28, was arrested on two counts of obscenity after police said he inappropriately touched himself and masturbated at a hair salon on June 17 and in a public building on July 3, according to an arrest report.

Police say he entered Airline Highway hair salon on June 17, sat in a chair and committed the act in front of a female. Then on July 3 Brown again masturbated in front of a woman while walking out of a public building, according to the report.

Police identified Brown in the June 17 case after they released photos of them to the media and urged anyone who recognized him to call investigators or Crime Stoppers. An investigator then matched those photos to surveillance video of the July 3 case and a witness also identified Brown from a photo lineup.
