The Sheriff’s Office released several photos of a man accused of robbing a Cracker Barrel on Jefferson Highway early Thursday morning.

The man went inside the convenience store 15421 Jefferson Highway at about 2 a.m. Thursday and, armed with a black pistol, told the clerk to give him money from the register and two packs of cigarettes, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office news release says.

The clerk followed his directions, and then the man ran away, the release says.

The release describes him as a black man with a mustache in his late twenties or early thirties, standing about 5 feet 6 inches, and wearing a black hooded jacked and camouflage pants.
