The LSU Police Department made two arrests in connection to several vehicle burglaries that occurred recently on campus, according to an LSU news release.
Conner Lynch, 18, 803 Drehr Ave. was arrested and booked Tuesday with two counts of burglary, theft by unauthorized use of an access card, conspiracy to commit forgery, and possession of drug paraphernalia, the release says.
Daniel Gilmer, 17, 1775 Perkins Road, was booked with two counts of burglary, theft by unauthorized use of an access card, and forgery, the release says.
Both were booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison.
LSU Police received several reports of vehicles having been burglarized Monday in the Miller Extension parking lot, which is near Miller Hall Dormitory and the Student Recreation Center.
Items taken in the burglaries were fraudulently used leading to the unauthorized use and forgery charges, the release says.
The two suspects were found and admitted to being involved in the crimes, the release says.
Property taken during the burglaries was recovered and investigators said they believe that there may be additional victims that have not come forward.
The investigation is still ongoing.
