Baton Rouge Police: Man arrested in September rape of woman in Longridge Park _lowres

Lilforest King, 23

Baton Rouge police made an arrest Monday after a woman was forced at gunpoint to perform oral sex on a masked man at BREC Longridge Park last month, authorities said.

The woman had been talking on her cellphone outside her apartment when she was approached by Lilforest King, 23, according to a warrant for King’s arrest issued Oct. 2. King faces counts of first-degree rape, second-degree kidnapping and armed robbery in the Sept. 29 incident.

Police believe King, dressed in all black clothing and a black ski mask, approached the 42-year-old woman in the 11000 block of Longridge Avenue and pointed a semi-automatic handgun at her, the document says. King ordered the woman to walk across the street into the “unlit park,” according to the arrest warrant, and told her to unlock her phone. She complied, according to the statement.

After taking the phone, King then forced the woman to perform oral sex on him while holding the gun to her head, the document says.

King, of the 12000 block of Cate Street, Baton Rouge, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison. He faces additional counts of illegal possession of a stolen firearm and felon in possession of a firearm after officers ran a search on his handgun, according to the affidavit of probable cause. In February, King was convicted of felony carnal knowledge of a juvenile, the affidavit said.
