A 15-year-old girl was rescued and three people arrested Tuesday during an undercover operation to save the human trafficking victim at a Baton Rouge hotel, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office said.

Detectives located the girl with an adult man and woman Tuesday, said Casey Rayborn Hicks, spokeswoman for the Sheriff’s Office.

A second woman was arrested during another undercover “date” at the hotel, Hicks said.

Deputies contacted the Louisiana Department of Children and Family Services, which is working to return the teenage girl to her home in Arkansas, Hicks said.
