Baton Rouge police were investigating the shooting death of a 16-year-old at 3452 Delaware St., according to a news release.

Police went to Delaware Street around 5:30 p.m. in reference to an unresponsive juvenile, Sgt. Donald Stone said in the release.

The juvenile was found in the house dead from a gunshot wound, Stone said.
