Baton Rouge police are looking for two men accused of burglarizing a pharmacy and a service station Thursday morning.

Two unidentified men broke into Brent’s Pharmacy on North Acadian Thruway at about 2:30 a.m., police said.

They broke the glass on the pharmacy’s front door to gain entry into the business, police said, before leaving with an undisclosed amount of pharmaceuticals.

About two hours later, at 4:30 a.m., the same two men broke into a Circle K on Nicholson Drive, said Cpl. Don Coppola Jr., a police spokesman.

They gained entry into the service station, located at 1644 Nicholson Drive, by breaking glass on its front door, Coppola said.

Once inside, the men were confronted by an employee at the store. They ran from the store, but didn’t steal any merchandise, Coppola said.

Police said the men are believed to be in a black compact vehicle. Both men were captured on video during at least one of the burglaries.

Police ask anyone with information about the burglaries to call the Violent Crimes Unit at (225) 389-4869 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
