St. George Fire Department investigators say a Wednesday morning fire at an apartment fourplex on Ned Drive appears to have been intentionally set, according to a news release from Fire Department spokesman Eldon Ledoux.

No one was injured in the fire, which was at an abandoned building with no working utilities at 8245 Ned Drive.

Firefighters arriving on the scene at 6:24 a.m. found flames coming from the upstairs rear of the building. The fire was under control just before 6:50 a.m. Ledoux said evidence was preserved indicating the fire was intentionally set.

St. George and State Fire Marshal investigators were continuing their investigation.
