A possible shooting occurred in Baton Rouge Saturday afternoon, according to a report from police.
The incident would be the fifth separate shooting in a 24-hour stretch. It would mark the sixth shooting victim, four of whom have died.

The reported shooting occurred about 115 p.m. in the 1400 block of Lake Calais Circuit in Baton Rouge, with one male victim.

Three of the shooting incidents occurred between Friday and early Saturday on Plank Drive.
• A man identified as Carl K. Moore Jr. was killed outside a barbershop in the 3200 block of Plank Road about 3 p.m., police said.
• Another man, who remains unidentified, was hurt in a shooting in the 3800 block of Plank Road about 8:30 p.m.; his condition remains unclear.
• Two men, identified as Kenneth Franklin and Larry Williams, were shot and died from their injuries after an altercation inside a bar at 6224 Plank Road.
Earlier in the day, one man was fatally shot inside a home on Georgia Street.
The string of fatal shootings increases Baton Rouge's record-setting homicide total in 2017 to 103.
