A Baton Rouge man was arrested Friday after he was accused of kicking in a woman’s back door in November and firing a pistol at her and another person.

The victim told Baton Rouge Police that she had changed the locks on her Baton Rouge home after she and George Carver Robinson, 33, had gotten into an argument, the report says. He later came back, kicked in the door and, armed with a pistol, used the laser on the gun to aim the firearm at her and another person inside. They ran into a bathroom, and Robinson fired several times, damaging doors and walls, the report says.

The victim told police Robinson was trying to kill her, the report says.

Witnesses identified Robinson as the shooter.

Robinson, of Baton Rouge, was booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on counts of attempted first-degree murder, domestic abuse aggravated assault, felon in possession of firearm and aggravated criminal damage to property.
