A Baton Rouge man accused of shooting another man in the leg in July was arrested Thursday.

Adrian Bowser, 27, and the victim got into an argument about the disappearance of Bowser’s cellphone, an arrest warrant said.

Bowser hit the victim in the head with a board and later shot him in the leg, the warrant said.

Bowser, 6755 Buttonwood Drive, was booked into Parish Prison on a count of attempted second-degree murder.

Authorities arrest 7 on suspicion of DWI

Authorities arrested at least seven people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday, booking records show. Those booked and the counts against them:

e_SBlt Tori Allen, 19, 944 Avenue D, Port Allen, first-offense DWI, speeding, improper lane usage.

e_SBlt Elizabeth Gilbert, 23, 2500 Gates Circle, first-offense DWI, disobey red light and failure to signal/improper turn.

e_SBlt Johnny Lewis, 30, 2322 E. Mason Ave., first-offense DWI, speeding and driving with a suspended/revoked license.

e_SBlt Sharon Wells, 51, 2722 Brown St., first-offense DWI, disobey control device and obstruction of a highway.

• Ryan Young, 20, 1218 Aberdeen Ave., first-offense DWI, improper lane usage and reckless operation of a vehicle.
