A man was arrested in Baton Rouge in a stabbing that sent another man to the hospital Friday night, a police spokesman said.
Felix A. Gonzalez, 22, is accused of jabbing a man in the abdomen during an argument between friends at 760 N. Donmoor Ave. around 5:30 p.m., said Baton Rouge Police Cpl. Don Coppola.
Gonzalez had been drinking most of the day when he was provoked by something the other man said, according to a Baton Rouge Police report. Gonzalez drew a blade from his pocket, driving it once into the left side of the other man’s body, the report says.
The victim is in stable condition, Coppola said.
Gonzalez, of 6875 Harry Drive, Baton Rouge, was booked into the East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on a count of aggravated battery.
