A 15-year-old boy was arrested Wednesday night on two counts of first-degree murder in the June 2 shooting deaths of two men in Natalbany that detectives believe were drug-related, said Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff Daniel Edwards.
Detectives believe the deaths of Charleston Mitchell, 24, and Randy Bickham, 31, are connected to another homicide the following day that is still under investigation, Edwards said. More arrests are expected in the double shooting, he said.
The third victim, Marquise Lightfoot, 18, was shot to death on June 3.
A $5,000 reward is being offered in each of the homicide cases for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for the death of Lightfoot, as well as for information that leads to additional arrests and convictions for others involved in the June 2 double homicide.
Those with information are asked to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 554-5245.
