Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between noon Saturday and noon Sunday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Kerry Christopher, 30, 919 Druid Circle, Norfolk, Virginia, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control and not in possession of driver’s license.

Jose Cruz-Momotic, 31, 5150 Nicholson Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control and not in possession of a license.

Johnnie Lanus, 33, 2935 Monroe Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, obstruction of a highway and operating a vehicle while under suspension for prior offense.

Michael Marroy, 48, 944 Daniel St., Baker, first-offense DWI, no license plate, driving with a suspended or revoked license, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and possession of schedule two drugs.

Joey Stewart, 26, 1136 W. Roosevelt St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control, and not in possession of a license.

Charles Thames, 37, 22804 Cabo Lane, Denham Springs, first-offense DWI, failure to maintain control and reckless operation of a vehicle.

David Truxillo, 46, 18323 Manchac, Prairieville, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, careless driving and driving with a suspended or revoked license.

George Warren, 39, 2002 Oak Grove Drive, Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control and no insurance.
