Baton Rouge Police detectives are attempting to identify a man in a photograph who is believed to have placed a small video camera in a men’s urinal in an office building on Sherwood Forest Boulevard, police said.

The device was found Nov. 24 by a man using one of the bathrooms in the building at 4000 S. Sherwood Forest Blvd., said Cpl. L’Jean McKneely, a police spokesman.

The camera was analyzed and detectives determined that the man who likely placed the camera in the urinal took videos of himself, McKneely said.

“We have pictures of him at home and when he was trying to place it in the restroom,” McKneely said.

Police are now trying to determine his identity, he said.

Anyone with information on the identity may contact the Special Victims Division at (225 ) 389-3853 or Crime Stoppers at (225 ) 389-7867.
