Deputies are looking for two women accused of purchasing more than $1,500 worth of merchandise from Target and Macy’s using stolen credit and debit cards.

Two women, seen together, used credit and debit cards to buy Xbox video game consoles and other items from the Target store on Siegen Lane and from Macy’s on Bluebonnet Boulevard shortly before 6 p.m. Jan. 27, an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office release says.

Investigators think the women had cards from multiple victims because they swiped several cards at the stores before they found one that worked, the release says.

The Sheriff’s Office asks anyone with information on the women to call (225) 389-5009 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
