Baton Rouge police are investigating an armed robbery of the McDonald’s restaurant at 6006 Plank Road on Saturday, according to a news release.
Two masked gunmen walked into the restaurant at 10:30 p.m. and demanded money, the release says.
The robbers then fled and were last seen running near the Spanish Arms Apartments in the 4300 block of Denham Street, the release says.
One of the men is described as a 5-foot, 8-inch black man, wearing a long-sleeved gray shirt and blue jeans, the release says.
The second man is described as a slim black man, about 5 feet, 10 inches, wearing a white shirt and blue jeans, the release says.

Two men arrested in shooting at LSU
Two men were arrested Sunday after authorities say they fired a gun during a fight on the LSU campus.
The fight occurred just before 3 a.m. at the West Campus Apartments, which are near the north gates of the school between Nicholson and Highland roads, an affidavit of probable cause says.
Witnesses told authorities that one of the men pointed a gun at the chests of two people, the affidavit says.
Witnesses also told authorities that a shot was fired from the gun as the man and his accomplice left the area in a vehicle, the affidavit says.
The men - Marcus Adams, 21, and Robert Davis, 31 - were located nearby on Alaska Street, the affidavit says.
Adams, 2828 Alaska St., and Davis, 5355 Dickens Road, were arrested and booked into East Baton Rouge Parish Prison on one count each of carrying a firearm onto school property; illegal use of a weapon; aggravated assault with a firearm and simple battery.
Lightning-strike fire destroys residence
A house fire caused by lightning Monday destroyed a home at 18642 Santa Maria Drive, according to a St. George Fire Department news release.
The home, valued at more than $500,000, caught fire during an intense thunderstorm that caused numerous reported lightning strikes and fires, the release says.
An adult and three children were home when the fire started but escaped without injury, the release says.
Three DWI suspects booked into prison
Authorities arrested at least three people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish - including a man on a fourth-offense DWI - and booked them into Parish Prison between 3 p.m. Sunday and 3 p.m. Monday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
• Christopher Naquin, 26, 2700 Ambassador Caffery Parkway, Lafayette, fourth-offense DWI and reckless operation of a vehicle.
• Schuyler Mounger, 50, 652 Concordia St., third-offense DWI.
• Robert Porter, 30, 11942 Forrest Oak Court, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
