Police seek help in identifying robber of Plank Road food store _lowres

Police are asking for help identifying this man who robbed a Pank Road business on Oct. 22

Baton Rouge Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a robber who stole a handful of cash from Dave’s Food Mart.

The unidentified man pretended to be a customer Oct. 22 at about 12:30 p.m. while at the Plank Road store. He walked up to the counter with his merchandise, but when an employee opened the register to complete the sale, the robber reached into the drawer, grabbed an undisclosed amount of money and ran out of the business, headed southbound on Plank Road, Baton Rouge Police spokesman Cpl. Don Coppola said.

The man is believed to be about 5 feet 4 inches to 5 feet 5 inches tall, weighing about 125 pounds.
