Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between noon Wednesday and noon Thursday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
Mary Burns, 26, 4245 Broussard Street, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.
Gary Doherty, 57, 6400 Ouida Irondale Road, Weyanoke, first-offense DWI, insurance required, seat belt violation, unsecured load and driver’s license expired.
Vernell Jackson, 39, 1338 W. Garfield St., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation, driver’s license not in possession, and blocking an intersection.
Patrick Jones, 29, 10960 E. Fuller Place, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and improper lane usage.
James Krawczyk, 22, 2227 E. Canterbury Drive, LaPlace, first-offense DWI and equipment violation.
Justin McFarland, 34, 18 Falcon Road, St. Francisville, first-offense DWI, failure to maintain control, and possession of alcoholic beverage in vehicle.
Charley Myles, 35, 1603 Spanish Town Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, hit and run, flight from officer, aggravated criminal damage to property, and felon in possession of a firearm.
James Turner, 45, 1075 Carsley Road, Jackson, Mississippi, first-offense DWI, possession of drug paraphernalia, reckless operation, and driver’s license not on person.
