Baton Rouge police on Wednesday arrested two men accused of raping an intoxicated woman.
Readd Paul Lacoste, 23, and Damian Jefferson, 25, were drinking vodka Sunday at the victim’s apartment, according to an arrest report. Once the woman became intoxicated, they took her to the bedroom and raped her, police said.
The last thing the victim remembers was one of the men saying, “Let me get some of that,” police said. She awoke the next morning with a condom wrapper beside her bed and went to the hospital for a rape test, the arrest report says.
Baton Rouge detectives on Wednesday arrested the men after they admitted to having sex with the woman without consent, police said.
Lacoste and Jefferson, both of 1925 North 3rd St., Baton Rouge, were booked into Parish prison on counts of aggravated rape.
