Baton Rouge police officers were placing barricades at three intersections on Highland Road near Interstate 10 while Entergy workers repaired a utility pole that was knocked down in a single-vehicle accident about 9 p.m. Saturday, a police spokesman said.
The intersections involved were Highland and Julia, Highland and Terrace Avenue, and Highland and Julia South, police Cpl. Tommy Stubbs said.
Traffic will “probably a little slow going” and drivers will have to follow the barricades to make it through, Stubbs said.
“People need to be mindful that Entergy is working in the area,” Stubbs said.
