East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s detectives are looking for a man accused in a shooting death May 14 on Oak Park Drive, a sheriff’s spokeswoman said.

Detectives say Roman Montrell Trosclair, 28, 7263 Maplewood Drive, shot and killed Dederick Droze, 24, Casey Rayborn Hicks said.

Droze and another man picked up Trosclair on May 14, and they drove to a convenience store in the 6000 block of Oak Park Drive, Hicks said.

After leaving the store, Trosclair fired shots at Droze and the other man, Hicks said. Droze died at the scene and the other man was treated for critical injuries, Hicks said.

Detectives identified Trosclair using surveillance video from a nearby convenience store, Hicks said.
