Police arrested a Baton Rouge man Wednesday accused in the rape of a teenage girl about a week ago at an Autumn Place apartment off McClelland Drive.
Yancy Dwayne Vincent, 22, is accused of raping the 14-year-old girl inside her home at the apartment complex on the night of Feb. 18, according to a Baton Rouge police report.
The teenage girl allowed Vincent, who is an acquaintance of her, into the apartment through a bedroom window, the report says. The girl told detectives that Vincent then told her to lock the door and later raped her as she pleaded with him to stop, the arrest report says.
Vincent was booked Wednesday into Parish Prison on counts of forcible rape and indecent behavior with a juvenile. He remained there Thursday afternoon in lieu of $100,000 bail, prison records show.
