Police are investigating a Thursday morning hit and run that left a pedestrian critically injured, according to a Baton Rouge Police Department news release.
The victim, a 46-year-old woman, was found lying in the southbound lane of the 5600 block of Plank Road around 4:35 a.m., the release says.
The woman was hit by an unknown vehicle which left after the incident, the release says.
The hit and run is under investigation.
