A Zachary woman was arrested Tuesday in the rape two years ago of a 10-year-old boy, the East Baton Rouge Sheriff's Office reported.
Harlie Vanosdell, now 21, is accused of raping the boy when she was about 19 and the boy was 10, according to the Sheriff's Office arrest report.
The boy detailed two separate incidents in a forensic interview conducted by the Baton Rouge Child Advocacy Center in which he said Vanosdell inappropriately touched him, undressed him and forced herself on him, the report says.
In the first incident the boy told investigators Vanosdell asked him if he know about the "birds and the bees" before sexually assaulting him, the report says.
They boy told investigators he felt weird during the sexual encounters and thought Vanosdell would hurt him if he resisted because she was so much bigger than him, the report says.
He also said he thought he would be in trouble if he told anyone about the incidents.
Vanosdell was booked into Parish Prison Tuesday night on two counts of first-degree rape.
