A Baton Rouge man has been arrested on four counts of first-degree rape, four counts of intentional exposure to HIV and a count of molestation of a juvenile after allegedly abusing a girl, now 12, over almost a year, Baton Rouge Police said.

The victim said the abuse began in September 2015 when the defendant, Larry Williams Jr., 47, began to bargain with her for sexual favors, according to a police report.

The victim’s mother told police that Williams is HIV positive, police said.

Williams denied any sexual contact with the victim but admitted the girl did not know he was HIV positive, police said.
