Authorities arrested at least five people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between 2:30 p.m. Saturday and 2:30 p.m. Sunday, booking records show.

Those booked and the counts against them:

Michael Anderson, 42, 12282 Queensbury Drive, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle and improper lane usage.

Charles Medaries, 52, 18587 Vignes Road, Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, no license plate light, improper lane usage, possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle and simple battery.

Bolton Morris, 31, 10233 Ballina Ave., Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, reckless operation of a vehicle, failure to maintain control and disobeying a red light.

Thaddeus Plummer, 48, street address not available, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI and possession of an alcoholic beverage in a vehicle.

Hunter Thompson, 18, 429 Independence Drive, Mandeville, first-offense DWI and running a stop or yield sign.
