Man sought in armed robbery of Capitol One Bank in Baton Rouge _lowres

Deputies on Thursday identified a 29-year-old as the man who walked into a local bank three months ago, stole money, and shot off a single round on his way out.

The East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office identified Timothy Pugh as the man who entered the Capitol One Bank on Bluebonnet Boulevard armed with a black semi-automatic pistol, demanded money from the teller, and ran away with an undisclosed amount of money, firing off one round as he escaped.

Pugh is wanted on one count each of armed robbery, illegal use of a weapon and aggravated criminal damage to property, the Sheriff’s Office release says.
