Detectives are looking for two men who tried to steal four pickup trucks between Oct. 17 and Oct. 18 in the Industriplex area of Baton Rouge.

The two men are accused of trying to take four Ford trucks, one of which has not been recovered, according to an East Baton Rouge Sheriff’s Office news release. Deputies believe the two men took two trucks, a F350 and F450, which were recovered within two days. The men tried to steal an F250, the release says, but were unsuccessful. They did, however, get away with a white Ford F350, which was taken from 11831 Cloverland and has not been recovered, the release says.

The Sheriff’s Office describes the two thieves as white men, one between 40 and 50 years old last seen wearing a camouflage jacket, blue jeans, work boots and a dark baseball cap, and the other between 25 and 35 years old with a short haircut and tattoos on his left arm and who was wearing a dark T-shirt, camouflage shorts and long dark socks.
