Authorities arrested at least eight people suspected of driving while intoxicated in East Baton Rouge Parish and booked them into Parish Prison between noon Friday and noon Saturday, booking records show.
Those booked and the counts against them:
Jamie Causey, 49, 1120 Spanish Town Road, Baton Rouge, first-offense DWI, failure to yield left turn and reckless operation.
Jake Coupel, 27, 3587 McCall Road, Donaldsonville, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and speeding.
Trevel Dunn, 23, 611 St. Peters Alley, Donaldsonville, first-offense DWI and speeding.
Elizabeth Dupre, 44, 5806 Ashley Springs Ct, Katy, Texas, first-offense DWI, reckless operation and drinking in a motor vehicle.
Thomas Joseph, 33, 7158 Glen Oaks Drive, Baton Rouge, second-offense DWI, reckless operation, driver’s license suspended/revoked and improper lane usage.
Claire Roy, 26, 208 N. Carolina Ave., New Roads, first-offense DWI and headlights required.
David Voorhies, 34, 35070 Oak Place Drive, Denham Springs, third-offense DWI and failure to maintain control.
John Francis Williams, 29, 12231 Sweet Bay Lane, Gonzales, second-offense DWI, headlights required, improper lane usage and driver’s license not on person.
