The Baton Rouge Fire Department is investigating the cause of a vacant house fire Sunday night.

The blaze in the 1400 block of N. 43rd St. began at 10:20 p.m. When firefighters arrived, they found about 30 percent of the home engulfed in flames, BRFD said in a news release. More of the fire was burning in the front of the home.

No one was injured. The fire caused about $15,000 in damage, according to BRFD.

The fire’s cause is still under investigation. BRFD requests that anyone who has any information to call the Baton Rouge Arson Division at 225-354-1416.
