Lebron Givens, 40, was booked into Parish Prison on counts of aggravated assault, felon in possession of firearms and illegal possession of stolen firearms.

A Baton Rouge man was arrested Saturday and accused of pointing an assault rifle at three people and of possessing firearms that had been stolen from officers with two different agencies.

Baton Rouge police responded to Lebron Givens’ home at 658 N. 28th St., where a woman told them Givens, 40, had pointed a loaded SKS assault rifle at her head and at two other people, according to a police report.

The woman, who said Givens is her boyfriend, showed police where the gun was located.

They took the weapon and arrested Givens.

After Givens was placed in a police unit, the report says, the victim told officers that Givens also had firearms in his vehicle.

Police “observed in plain view” the barrel of a pistol under Givens’ driver seat, which they retrieved and then found a second pistol under the same seat, the report says. One was a State Police pistol that had been stolen in a patrol car burglary, while the other was a pistol stolen from a Baton Rouge police officer.

Givens was booked into Parish Prison on counts of aggravated assault, felon in possession of a firearm and illegal possession of stolen firearms.
