Livingston Parish sheriff’s deputies searched on Saturday for a man accused of breaking into several vehicles at a Livingston Parish public park before fleeing to Baton Rouge, according to a news release.
Alex “Bull” Warner Jr., 55, ran away from undercover deputies after they spotted him breaking the windows of cars in the parking lot at North Park, on Eden Church Road and Lockhart Road, Sheriff’s Chief of Operations Perry Rushing said.
Warner jumped into a maroon Chevrolet Suburban and fled to Baton Rouge, where deputies pursued him to Stacey Drive near Belaire High School, Rushing said.
Warner then abandoned his car near Belaire and fled on foot, Rushing said.
Warner is described as a black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 130 pounds, Rushing said.
Anyone with information on Warner’s whereabouts is asked to call the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office at 225) 686-2241 or Crime Stoppers at (225) 344-7867.
