A 21-year-old Baton Rouge man was shot and killed Thursday night while walking out of a basketball gym at Berean Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Baton Rouge police responded at 8:05 p.m. to the 5100 block of Osborne Avenue, where Justin Guillory, 7821 Videt Polk Drive, was fatally injured by gunfire, Baton Rouge Police spokesman Cpl. L’Jean McKneely said.

McKneely could not confirm how many times Guillory was struck, though there were reports of multiple gunshots. Guillory died at the scene.

There are no suspects or witnesses in the case, McKneely said.

Dr. Beau Clark, the parish coroner, did not immediately respond to a request for information.
